The New Year's mood can be conveyed even in a small sketch. You don't have to paint large-scale landscapes with a festively decorated square or carefully work out a New Year's still life. Try to depict a small fragment of the decoration of the apartment - and you will get a real New Year card.
It is necessary
- - cardboard;
- - the pencils;
- - paints;
- - palette;
- - brushes.
Instructions
Step 1
Take thick cardboard with a textured rough surface. Do not use a glossy material - the paint will not lie flat on it.
Step 2
Divide the sheet in half horizontally, then use vertical lines to split it into three equal segments. On the left side, just below the horizontal axis, draw half of the Christmas tree ball. Its lower border should not reach the bottom line of the sheet by 2 cm. The right side of the ball must touch the first vertical axis. Write the second toy of the same shape in the area up to the first vertical on the right. The side of the second ball extends half a centimeter beyond the border of the vertical, and its lower part touches the edge of the sheet. A toy with a smaller diameter should be visible from behind the ball on the right. To draw circles evenly, first draw squares and then equally cut their corners with arcs.
Step 3
In the background, sketch out the outlines of the tree. It can be marked with an approximate outline. Draw the snowflake carefully. Draw a circle, halve it vertically, then horizontally. Continue dividing the shape into equal parts until the number of segments reaches 12. Draw protrusions on the division lines, turning the lines into carved rays of the snowflake.
Step 4
Color in the drawing. Fill the background with red. When it's dry, paint the snowflake with white gouache. Use a thin synthetic brush to create crisp lines.
Step 5
Fill the blue balls with color. Start applying paint to the lightest areas around the highlights. Then add shadows along the path and at the base of the toys. Don't forget to outline the reflexes from the golden tinsel and red ball. Coloring the red ball, draw in it the reflection of the two blue ones. It may not be drawn in detail, but it is necessary to mark it with spots.
Step 6
Mix a dark green shade in the palette. Fill in the outline of the tree with it and wait for the paint to dry. Then use a thin brush to paint light green, brownish green and grassy and use strokes to mark individual needles. Use darker shades first, then move on to lighter ones.
Step 7
Color in the golden tinsel last. In the foreground, it can be drawn in the same way as needles on a spruce, in the background, such detailing is not needed - you just need to add spots of color. Use white gouache to paint the highlights on the tinsel.
