If you are going on a trip or you have a business trip, do not forget to get a comfortable and roomy suitcase. Today you can buy a suitcase in any shopping center or in a specialty store, but in order for the purchase not to disappoint you, you need to choose the right suitcase that suits your needs. What should you pay attention to first when buying a suitcase?

  1. Estimate the volume of the suitcase and its cost: how much does the manufacturer's reputation correspond to the declared price? Is a suitcase of this size suitable for you? Choose a suitcase in such a way that you do not have to take along a few more bags with things that do not fit into it.
  2. Pay attention to the material from which the suitcase is made. Synthetic fabric made of nylon and polyester fibers is resistant to moisture, dirt and scratches (it is advisable to buy a suitcase with water-repellent impregnation). Suitcases made of plastic with metal chips have a high frame strength, but the material itself is afraid of scratches. But plastic with titanium chips is not afraid of impacts, scratches or other mechanical damage. Elegant leather suitcases, which look the most presentable, are much less practical - firstly, they are considered the heaviest, and secondly, leather can easily be torn or scratched.
  3. Do not buy a suitcase with the wheels on the same axle. Each wheel must rotate independently of each other, and suitcases with four wheels are rightfully considered the most practical. It is best to choose a suitcase equipped with a locking brake: in this case, you do not have to worry about the suitcase rolling away from you. Suitcase wheels should be metal, as all-plastic wheels are less reliable.
  4. The model must be completely immersed in the case - in this case, it will not break.
  5. Pay attention to zippers and other zippers: it is preferable to choose suitcases with plastic zippers, as they are much more resistant to temperature than metal ones. The wider the fastener, the better: the most reliable fastener is considered to be at least 8 mm wide.
  6. Take a close look at the locks: how reliable are they? By the way, in expensive and high-quality models of suitcases there are usually several locks: one of them is coded, and the others are locked with a key. When buying a suitcase with a padlock, play it safe and immediately purchase a pair of similar locks in reserve. If the padlock breaks, you can always replace it with a spare one.
