A festively decorated Christmas tree is the same invariable attribute of the New Year as the salad "Olivier" and the film "Irony of Fate". You can decorate a winter beauty, focusing on popular styles. What are they?

If there is a garland with multi-colored lights on the Christmas tree, the branches are hung with different-sized shiny toys (the smaller ones are at the top, and the larger ones are closer to the trunk and lower) - this is a traditional style. Do not overdo it with decorations, do not overwhelm the tree with too much tinsel and "rain" - and it will delight you with a little careless, but very cute and cheerful vestments.

The European style is very interesting and popular. It is important to observe a certain color palette here. Let's say you take only balls for decoration and only two tones that are in harmony with each other: gold with red, silver with blue. Or play on a combination of matte and shiny with toys of the same color. Brocade bows, ribbons, small flickering bulbs are suitable for such decorations. The herringbone will turn out to be fashionable, exquisitely elegant.

Childish style can be combined with traditional style, although if your child is still very young, you should not use breakable toys and shiny tinsel that the baby can easily pull into his mouth. After all, children want to try everything - both with their hands and by their teeth. Give them this opportunity: decorate the tree with colorful soft and plastic toys, candy, gingerbread and fruit.

If a tree overloaded with toys is not to your liking, choose a minimalist style. In this case, a shiny varnish or spray is enough to decorate the forest beauty. "Draw" them a Christmas tree according to your taste: apply vertical or horizontal stripes, zigzags. When the varnish is dry, add a few large balls, some silvery "rain". Although without tinsel, a shiny Christmas tree will look original.

Fans of naturalness and closeness to nature will not ignore the rustic style. Having shown imagination, you can tastefully decorate the Christmas tree with multi-colored (but not glass) beads, apple balls, toys in the form of sledges, skis, cuckoo clocks. And instead of tinsel, sprinkle the branches with hay or dry grass (you can buy at a pet store), finely chopped white paper. Rowan or lingonberry bunches will perfectly complement the rural style.
