It is no longer possible to imagine outdoor recreation without juicy barbecue, grilled vegetables or just toast on an open fire. But what a disappointment the situation can be if at the right time there is no barbecue at hand. Instead of getting upset, you need to remember the well-known principle - the need for invention is cunning.
Brazier from skewers
The easiest way to quickly build a brazier is to construct it from free skewers. This will require products with rings at the ends. Four skewers are stuck into the ground so that the distance between them forms a square. The distance between the bases should be slightly less than the length of the skewers themselves.
Next, two skewers are threaded through the rings parallel to each other. This design is well suited for kebabs, but the grill grid may not withstand. If skewers are not enough, straight and strong branches can be used instead of horizontal bars.
The main disadvantage of the design is that the fire in it does not hide on the sides, so it will take longer than usual to fry a kebab in such a grill.
Brazier in the pit
If time permits, then the grill can be dug. This will require a very small indentation in the ground, about half a meter deep.
Cooking kebabs in such a grill will take much less time, since the heat of the flame will purposefully affect the meat. For convenience, the brazier can be lined with stones along the edges for a solid installation of skewers.
Brazier from logs
For recreation in the forest, it is better and faster to build a brazier from logs. It will take two logs of approximately the same size to be laid parallel to each other. This design simultaneously limits and retains the flame, and at the same time serves as a stand for skewers. A similar structure can be built from stones or bricks.
