There are many places for year-round recreation in the Moscow region. Lovers of a quiet holiday can go to boarding houses and sanatoriums, and supporters of an active lifestyle can have a great weekend at tourist centers, fishing and hunting bases, as well as visit ski resorts that operate from December to March.
Where to relax in the Moscow region in the summer
If you want to spend a weekend with your family and young children, then the best option would be a recreation center or a sanatorium, where vacationers are provided with three meals a day and all the necessary amenities. A large number of recreation centers are located in the north of the Moscow region near the reservoirs: Ikshinsky, Klyazminsky, Pyalovsky and Pestovsky.

One of the most popular ski resorts near Moscow is the Volen park, located in the Dmitrovsky district near the Yakhroma railway station. The complex "Volen" has all the conditions for recreation: guest houses with furniture, saunas, bars, billiard rooms. However, recreation in the Volen Park is quite expensive, so many skiers prefer to come there without an overnight stay.
