Every year we expect something unusual from the New Year's holidays, but most often the result is the same: the hassle of preparing as much food as possible and the not very pleasant awakening for dinner on January 1 of the New Year. But the organization of the holiday is entirely in our hands, and we can make it unusual by going to Europe to celebrate the New Year. This is not a bad idea at all!
Those who often travel to Europe will find themselves here in a completely different environment on New Year's Eve and get to know familiar places from a new perspective. And newcomers will learn a new world and experience new positive emotional shocks from an extraordinary New Year's Eve in one of the European countries. So, let's go:
1. Austria. Vein. Those who have visited this beautiful city before will probably remember its breathtaking architecture and the magnificent Hofburg Imperial Palace with 2,600 halls and rooms, in which, it seems, the heroic spirit of the Habsburg Dynasty still hovers.

2. Lapland. Rovaniemi. Do you want to please your children and fall into childhood a little? Then the course to Lapland - the homeland of the bearded Santa Claus, which is located in the Arctic Circle. At the same time, let's remember the tales of Hans Christian Andersen and Selma Lagerlef about the Snow Queen and Niels with wild geese. There, they say, is the house of Santa Claus. He lives on Mount Korvatunturi, and during the New Year and Christmas, he certainly comes to his office in the town of Rovaniemi.
Here a huge number of entertaining New Year's events are held: concerts, festivals, exhibitions. And on New Year's Eve itself, everyone will attend a big gala concert. If this is not enough for you, let's go to the town of Ranua, where there is a huge Arctic zoo, and at the same time visit the castle "Mur-mur" - this is an extraordinary fairy-tale park with gnomes, witches and goblin. After such a fright, it is good to sweeten the impression - this will help the Fazer confectionery factory, it is very close there.
3. Holland. Amsterdam. Everyone knows that this is a city of fun, where you can get a holiday and good mood for every taste. Apparently, God himself ordered to celebrate the New Year here. What can you experience unusual in Amsterdam on New Year's Eve?
It is a city with an extensive network of canals, which is why it is called the "second Venice". On New Year's Eve, there are just crowds of tourists, but you can still surprise everyone around you if you order the “boat of your dreams” for this fabulous night. True, this service will require a group of 4 people, but is it difficult? Here you come to a nightclub on a personal boat in the festive lights.
