Every year, no matter how long we have lived in the world, the closer the main winter holiday of our country approaches, the more women (and men, of course) think about gifts to other family members. As a result, only a standard tested set comes to mind. What not to give for the New Year if you want to bring joy to a man, and not become predictable again.
When shopping for New Year's gifts for men, the following items should be avoided:
- Socks / briefs. Lovely women, girls, mothers, of course, any respectable man, as they say, does not have a lot of socks / panties. But to buy socks / underpants for your loved one, you must admit that there are 364 more days a year. And on a holiday, you can eat Olivier in old socks / shorts, for example, found under the tree a year ago.
- Shaving kit. The same story as with socks. A thing that is indisputably necessary, but is unlikely to pass for a good gift. After all, many women use razors too. Imagine if you see this under the tree, unrolling a beautiful gift wrapping. Men are also, besides, most likely, this is the gift they are expecting from you.
- Gift certificate to a clothing store. In itself, such a gift is not even bad, but in the case of men who, frankly, do not like to go shopping, the certificate can lie idle for a very long time. As a result, you yourself will have to lead the man to try on, inspect one rack of clothes after another and persuade him to try on that cute sweater.
- New Year's souvenir. In my opinion, the uselessness of this product, which every year appears in our stores in unlimited quantities, deserves just a separate article. But if you still somehow know what to do with this item later (put somewhere and dust it off), then the man will decide that you still have not remembered his hobbies and interests and bought a souvenir so that buy something.
I would also like to note that this set of things that should not be presented to men as a gift applies to all other holidays.
