New Year's holidays are just around the corner, which means that it's time to think about interior decoration. The main symbol of the New Year in Russia is Santa Claus, so he should be present in every home, even in the form of a toy. To make it, expensive and inaccessible materials are not needed. Foam paper can be easily replaced with felt or fabric, a glue gun with Titan or thick PVA glue, and foam balls with homemade or plastic Christmas balls.
It is necessary
- - felt and / or foamiran (fom);
- - glue gun;
- - 2 foam balls;
- - 3 wooden sticks;

- - blush or pastel crayons.
Instructions
Step 1
For the convenience of working with the ball, place it on the glass. Cut one ball in half - 1 half will become the torso, the other half will become the stand.
Step 2
Glue a piece of foamiran or flesh-colored felt onto about one third of the ball - this will be the visible part of Santa Claus's face. This is done to save material of this shade, because those who make dolls run out of it the fastest.
Step 3
Paste the remaining two-thirds in any other color. If you are working with foamiran, heat it with an iron and immediately pull it over the ball. If you don't have foamiran, cut the felt into sectors (like the peel of an orange or a map of the world on a globe along the meridians). Then he will lie on the ball without wrinkles.
Step 4
To make a beard, mustache, and hair, cut white foamiran or felt into strips and cut each across. You should get a "comb". Heat the fom on the sole of the iron to curl the hair.
Step 5
Paste hair on the upper border of the face, beard and mustache on the bottom.

Under the beard, glue the neck - a foam cylinder pasted over with a flesh-colored material. Instead, you can take the lid from a small bottle or jar.

Glue the neck to the top of one of the hemispheres.

Make the legs by glueing them over with red material. Glue to stand and torso.
Step 10
It's the turn of Santa Claus's fur coat. Here, too, you can do only with a glue gun, or you can sew a fur coat. In the first case, the sleeves with mittens are glued to the base, in the second case, you can immediately sew with the sleeves.
Step 11
Draw Santa's face with a marker or eyeliner. Color the nose and cheeks with blush.
Step 12
