There are a lot of official holidays in the year: New Year, March 8, February 23, Independence Day, etc. Most of them are celebrated in the family circle. How can you celebrate Victory Day with your children? There are a lot of options. After all, it is warm outside the window and you can go anywhere.
Instructions
Step 1
Go with the whole family to the Great Victory Day parade. Children will definitely like the show of military equipment and the marching soldiers. Then you can have some fun at the concert. And when you get tired, go to dinner at a cafe. On holidays, you can forget about household chores for one day and enjoy delicious dishes in some quiet and cozy place.
Step 2
Or, conversely, move away from the usual scenario. Instead of the standard feast and watching the parade on TV, go to nature. Take meat, vegetables and grill with you. Pamper the children with a delicious barbecue and cook field porridge. Bring your sports equipment to keep your holiday active and interesting. Be sure to explain to the children what this holiday is, if they do not already know. Don't delve too deeply into historical dates and facts. Tell them a mini-tale of a war with a happy ending. Children need to know who to thank for living in peace and tranquility.
Step 3
Visit your grandparents. If they are veterans, this will be a wonderful occasion to congratulate them on the holiday. Present the veteran with a souvenir flask. And please your grandmother with the cards that the children made with their own hands on the eve of Victory Day. What else do your parents need on a day like this? Only so that loved ones are close. Indeed, for the sake of their descendants, they risked their lives and stubbornly went to victory.
Step 4
Invite friends over to visit you. Have a themed evening. Decorate the room in the spirit of the USSR, cook wartime dishes, decorate the table with red carnations and St. George ribbons. Watch old films about the war and attract children to watch them so that they know the history of their country from an early age and grow up as patriots.
Step 5
If you want to congratulate the veterans on Victory Day, you can entrust the children with the presentation of flowers at the parade. Old people are incredibly pleased to see how the new generation respects their feat. Or visit a veteran and present a small gift, at least flowers. After all, people of retirement age are so lacking in communication, and they are glad to every guest in their home. Find out the nearest addresses of veterans at the district social security office and please them with your attention.
