A school New Year's party can be held traditionally or try to surprise the guests. Regardless of which option you choose, the success of the holiday can only be ensured if the holiday scenario and the necessary attributes are prepared in advance.

Step 1
First of all, think over the theme of the party. Traditional feasts with bunnies and squirrels were in the life of, perhaps, everyone, so it is worth looking for new options. For example, a party in the style of old westerns will appeal to both teachers who saw such films as a teenager, and children who perceive it as exotic.
Step 2
In accordance with the chosen direction, arrange the room where the celebration will take place. Also, besides the decor, think about the functionality and safety of the room. It should be roomy enough, with good wiring and quality repairs.
Step 3
Calculate the approximate number of participants in the party and purchase enough food. Look for foods that can be stored for a long time. Buy perishable salads and cakes on the same day. You can also involve female students in the training process, who can bake goodies according to the recipes learned in technology lessons.
Step 4
Place tables for food in the hall where the celebration will take place. At such parties, it is more convenient to use the buffet option. Arrange snacks and fruits on the tables located around the perimeter of the hall so that everyone can come up to them and refresh themselves at any time.

Consider the age of the students when planning your entertainment program. Write scripts for the main congratulations from the children and from the teachers. Teachers' greetings can not only entertain, but also convey new information. For example, you can prepare scenes in which teachers will illustrate New Year's traditions in different countries.

Organize several "concert" venues for children of different ages - for elementary school students, older children (grades 5-7) and the oldest. Let each have its own teacher-animator who will conduct competitions. At the same time, contests for everyone can be held on the main stage - then children can choose what is more interesting to them.
