The government of the Russian Federation told how we rest in 2017 on holidays, presenting the approved calendar for all quarters and months. Now residents of Russia can plan their vacation in advance and find out the norms of working hours.
How we rest in 2017 in January, February and March
According to the approved calendar, citizens will have a rest in 2017 in January from the 1st to the 8th. The traditional New Year holidays have not gone anywhere, and there are no plans to cancel them in the near future. And due to the fact that January 1 (New Year) and January 7 (Christmas) fall on Sunday and Saturday, the government decided to postpone these days off to February and May, but this will be discussed a little later. It is worth noting that the authorities do not stop discussing the possibility of postponing the January holidays to early May, when people could arrange a more eventful and active vacation, but so far this is just an idea.
In February 2017, we rest from the 22nd to the 26th, and this will be one of the shortest working weeks of the year: only two full days (Monday and Tuesday) and a shortened pre-holiday Wednesday. February 23, unofficially recognized not only as Defender of the Fatherland Day, but also as a holiday for all men, falls on Thursday. Friday, February 24, was made an additional day off, moving here the one that fell to Saturday, January 1.
In March 2017, holidays, unfortunately, are not as conveniently located as we would like. March 8, a holiday in honor of the beautiful half of humanity, falls on Wednesday, and nothing can be done about it. All other days of March will be held as usual, with the exception of the pre-holiday 7 day, when there will be a shortened working day.
How we rest in 2017 in May and June
After waiting out the usual industrial April, citizens can finally rest for a few days in May. May holidays this time, alas, will not be as long as last year. May 1 (Monday) is the first official day off. It will be followed by holidays on May 8 and 9 (it was decided to postpone Saturday January Christmas to Monday). Thus, citizens rest in May 2017, first three days in a row (from April 29 to May 1), and then four (from May 6 to 9).
In June, Russia will traditionally celebrate the Day of Russia. This date is the 12th, which this time turned out to be Monday. So, citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to relax in June for three days in a row - from 10 to 12 June. After that, you can safely plan your vacation, since it is still a long time before the next holidays.
How we rest in 2017 in November
In November 2017, with weekends and holidays, everything will also be in order. To the delight of all citizens, National Unity Day, November 4, falls on Saturday, which gave the government the opportunity to conveniently arrange the weekend. It should be noted that November 3 is a shortened working day. After that, we rest from 4 to 6 November.
As a result, according to the approved calendar, it turns out that in 2017 the Russians will be given 13 holidays, each of which is a day off. Do not forget to remind the management about the presence of pre-holiday days, which should be in the mode of reduced working hours.
