On the third day of Shrovetide (Lakomk), Wednesday, dress like you were at the wedding. This is the rule for the young. And the sons-in-law should come for a walk to the mother-in-law. Arrange a real feast on this day, go to the country house or visit a recreation center in nature. Just remember that it is already forbidden to eat meat on Shrovetide.

On Thursday, the fourth day of the celebration (Wide), start caroling. This is the day of the main fun - go sledding, carry your straw scarecrow in them. If you have the opportunity and desire, arrange various contests and competitions in agility and strength. Women are not allowed to sew on this day.
Step 5
On the fifth day of the celebration of Maslenitsa (Mother-in-law's evening), on Friday, invite your mother-in-law to visit you. The mother-in-law, in turn, must give the son-in-law a frying pan and rolling pin, and the father-in-law - butter and flour. After that, the son-in-law must ride the mother-in-law on a sled. A good relative is driven along a flat road, and an evil one - over bumps.
Step 6
On Saturday, on the sixth day of the holiday (Zolovka's gatherings), invite your husband's sister and give her something. This condition must be met if you are a young daughter-in-law. On this day, take your doll to the end of the city and burn it with songs. Have a walk around the fire.
Step 7
On the last day of Shrovetide (Forgiveness Sunday), ask for forgiveness from all your loved ones. Forgive those who ask you for forgiveness. On the last day of the celebration, you must definitely drink alcoholic beverages, light ones are possible. Leave pancakes on the graves of relatives.
