Step 1
If we decided to make a postcard with our own hands using the "scrapbooking" technique. This is a technique for making volumetric postcards with your own hands from various materials. First, let's choose the color scheme of the card and the idea for it. We will prepare materials for the postcard so that they all lie side by side, and you do not have to get up behind them.
Step 2
We start manufacturing. We take A4 base paper, evenly, using a ruler, fold it in half. This will be our blank postcard.
Step 3
Then we cut out small details for decoration from a different type of paper. If we make a thematic applique painting, then we cut out parts of this painting. For example, when depicting a spring meadow on a postcard, we need details of a tree, grass, sun, flowers and clouds. You can use not only paper, but also threads (for example, for grass) or cotton wool (for clouds).
Step 4
In order to revive our picture, we apply glitter with gel (or nail polish) in some details. For example, in the clouds, or the sun, or a flower.
Step 5
Then we leave the postcard out of the blue so that it dries up, and at this time we compose a personal congratulation for the birthday person, or a personal toast, which we will read when giving our gift.
