On August 12, a grandiose celebration will take place in honor of the Russian Aviation Day. It will take place near Moscow, in the city of Zhukovsky. Over 110 aircraft and helicopters, including the latest fifth-generation multi-role fighter T-50, will take part in the air demonstration performances.
Since a huge number of spectators are expected, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation decided to book 100 thousand invitation tickets. You can order them using the Internet by filling out the appropriate electronic form with entering your passport data and contact information. Children under 14 years old will be able to attend the holiday without invitation cards, but always accompanied by adults.
The program of the festive show is as follows. The admission of visitors to the territory intended for the celebration will begin at 8-00 am, and the holiday itself will be announced open at 10-30 am. The landing of paratroopers carrying the flags of Russia, the Ministry of Defense and the Air Force will serve as a sign of the opening. After that, at 11-00 in the morning, a group of 6 Su-25 aircraft will pass over the spectators. Two of them will be white, two will be blue, and the last two will be red. That is, these planes will depict the Russian tricolor in the sky. Immediately after that, a large group of Su-25, Su-27 and MiG-29 aircraft will appear in the sky. It will depict the outline of the number 100, since it is this year that marks the 100th anniversary of Russian aviation.
After the passage of this group, guests of the holiday will be able to see a long two-hour show, which will reflect the history of the development of aviation since the First World War. The show will feature restored aircraft from the 10s, 20s, 30s and 40s.
And after the end of this part of the holiday from 13-00 to 19-00 the air show "Common Sky" will continue, in which the aviation of the Russian Air Force will take an active part. Spectators, in addition to the already mentioned T-50 fighter, will be able to see the MiG-29 and MiG-31, Su-25, Su-27, Su-34 planes, Tu-95, Tu-160 long-range strategic aviation bombers, military transport aircraft An-124, An-22, An-140. In addition to airplanes, there will be Mi-24, Mi-35, Ka-50, Ka-52 helicopters in the sky.
Along with Russian pilots, aerobatics masters from such foreign countries as Poland, Great Britain, Finland, France, Italy will perform. And the festive program will end with the performance of the renowned bands "Russian Knights" on the Su-27 and "Strizhi" planes on the MiG-29 planes. In a word, it will be a wonderful holiday!
