Ideally, have some oversized T-shirts ready for sleeping for those who come or come without a change of clothes and stay overnight.

Make a menu and write a list of the products you need to buy. You can, in the old-fashioned way, seat all guests at a common table, with salads, hot and dessert. But if there are more guests planned than seating places, you can arrange a fashionable buffet table. Namely - to cook or buy all kinds of snacks, canapes, tartlets, and put them on wide flat dishes that can be placed throughout the apartment. Guests will move from dish to dish, collect whatever they want on their plates, and communicate with each other in the process. In any case, if you are planning an alcoholic reception, do not forget to display several types of alcoholic beverages, both strong and light.

If all your guests have known each other for a long time or are related, there should be no problems with communication. But if many of them see each other for the first time, think about how to make acquaintance easy and enjoyable. At the very beginning of the evening, when everyone is seated, you can put a soft toy in a circle: the one who takes it introduces himself and says a few words about himself. This playful method will relieve tension. You can also arrange guests yourself so that it would be interesting for them to communicate with neighbors. If children come with the adults, it is better to set a table for them in another room, where they can play and run without disturbing you.

Think over the general program of the evening. If there will be dancing, prepare music in advance, interspersing slow compositions with energetic ones. If you want to arrange a quiz or competition, search the Internet on specialized sites for interesting scenarios. As a rule, at home gatherings there is always a person who sings and plays the guitar well. provide him with a tool: take a guitar from friends, neighbors, or ask him to bring him with him. All these entertainments will pleasantly diversify your evening. The main thing is to intersperse toasts with songs and dances so that guests do not get drunk ahead of time. At the same time, give people food first, do not rush at them immediately with an offer to play or dance.
