Try not to think about the fact that at the holiday you will be badly received, interrupted or asked some difficult question. Try to forget about your fear of the public. Think about the fact that if you perform badly, then nothing terrible will happen, since every person has the right to make mistakes, which means that there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of.

Relieve your anxiety, imagine some amazing landscape or something that usually gives you a rush of positive emotions. Think of something good to quickly calm down and put your thoughts in order.

Remember, perfect preparation for a show is half the battle. Be confident, as confidence is the main weapon against the fear of public speaking.

Rehearse your speech several times, then you will be able to identify all the shortcomings and have time to carefully work them out. Prepare the material well, show it to other people, listen to their opinions. Your performance should have a zest, personality and something that sets it apart from many others. Any doubts about the performance should become insignificant for you.

Get to know the venue and audience ahead of time before the party starts. Relax and try not to get nervous over trifles. Try running a successful version of your speech in front of an audience in your head.

Before you start your performance, be sure to look into the audience and smile. This will make the audience feel friendly and will feel loved and listened to. Your talk should have a spectacular start and end.
