Alas, a beach vacation can be boring at times, especially if there are no relatives and friends nearby. Of course, sunbathing and swimming is pleasant, but alone it gets boring pretty quickly. Therefore, on some beaches, a very interesting innovation has appeared, which allows you to make rest on the banks of a river or sea more informative.
A large number of people prefer to relax on the beaches with an interesting book in their hands. As it turns out, some of the major beaches have real libraries every summer. To take a book does not require registration and payment at all, you just need to go to the rack and select the work you are interested in.
In some countries, a new interesting project called "Beach Libraries" has started. They can already be found on the beach "Gold Coast", which is located in Odessa in Ukraine, in Italy on the beaches of Montecorice, Castellabate and Pollica-Acciaroli, as well as in Holland on the beach of the port city IJmuiden. Here you can rent a book you are interested in absolutely free of charge and spend an hour or two reading it.
This innovation makes life much easier for tourists and those who like to soak up the sun on the shore of the reservoir, because now there is no need to take books with you from home. In the beach library, you can borrow a book or magazine of your choice. Of course, leaving the resting place, you must return the book back.
It is encouraged and allowed to replenish the funds of beach libraries with read own books from home archives. For lovers of reading, specially installed umbrellas are offered, which are installed in places remote from the coastline, isolated from the spray of water and the noise of tourists. At the end of the summer season, all publications will be transferred to special repositories, where they will wait for the next summer and new readers.
The beach library in Odessa has about 400 books, some of them in a foreign language, designed for tourists from neighboring countries. On the beach "Gold Coast" it is allowed to take books with you to read at home, then return back or bring another work from the home library in exchange.
