A flower show is an event that attracts the attention of not only professional florists, but also ordinary spectators who admire flowers. To organize such an event, it is enough to adhere to simple rules.
Instructions
Step 1
Every exhibition, whether it is about flowers or not, has its own idea. Dedicate your exposition to any relevant event, it is quite possible that this will help attract additional visitors to it. You will definitely need assistants-florists who will take care of flowers during the exhibition and make sure that all the exhibits look decent.
Step 2
Decide in advance whether you want to invite foreign specialists to participate in the exhibition. If your answer is yes, send out press releases to all potential participants three to four weeks before opening. Take care of the price list of the exhibition, decide on the price of entry counter-stamps for visitors.
Step 3
The exhibition budget can be quite large, and you will not be able to cope with it. This is why consider additional funding sources. They can be city authorities or offices dealing with floristry. You cannot do without information sponsors who will cover your exhibition in detail in the media.
Step 4
Take care of the room for your exhibition. An ordinary palace of culture is fine, but if the weather permits, it is better to move the exhibition to a park or square. To do this, you need to discuss all the details with the administration of your city in advance and obtain permission. Take care of the timely installation of the equipment necessary for the exhibition.
Step 5
Holding additional master classes and competitions for florists and visitors will not harm your exposition. It is better if the entrance to such events is free, this will attract more visitors. You can raise funds if you set up a small buffet for everyone (it is better to exclude alcohol from the menu of this mini-cafe).
Step 6
It will be better if your exhibition is open on weekends so you can get high traffic. It is not worth delaying the exhibition for up to 7 or more days, one or two days is quite enough, especially since some varieties of flowers can deteriorate even in this short period.
