A person cannot be constantly in tension. If he is engaged in the same type of activity every day for many hours, his performance gradually decreases. The same thing happens if a person performs the same sequence of actions every day, simply because for some reason it is necessary. The body takes its toll, it wants to rest. But it doesn't work. There are also new obligatory tasks that need to be done urgently. The result of this race is chronic fatigue, and even a serious illness. This must be avoided, which means learning to rest.

Instructions

Step 1

Learn to use your time efficiently. Try to keep up with everything that needs to be done in the service so that you do not have to take work home. It is better to cut back on tea at work than to sit on a budget or a report all evening. If you have a free schedule or you generally work from home, learn to do the job efficiently, but quickly. If you put off work until the last moment, you will still be thinking about it all day.

Step 2

When you finish work, do not grab onto household chores right away. Try to relax a little. You can sit in a chair for a few minutes. You can go to the nearest park or just sit with neighbors at the entrance. The break should not be very long, but it is necessary to forget about work matters and calmly move on to home.

Step 3

Think about what household chores must be done today, which ones can wait, and what you can do without. Some household chores can be successfully combined - this will significantly reduce the time to complete them. Soup-making goes well with, for example, cleaning rooms, doing laundry, or checking homework.

Step 4

Learn to do all the things you need to do with pleasure. You really like a clean apartment, you just love to shake out the rugs. A person gets tired much less from a pleasant job.

Step 5

Learn to distribute household chores equally among all family members. Don't take it all on yourself, especially if you work harder than others. Do not hesitate to accept help and do not be afraid that your family will not cope with the task assigned to them. For the first time, they may not be able to cope, but do not rush to redo it. Let everything remain as it is. It will be much better next time.

Step 6

Take time to go to the woods, to the river, or just sit in an armchair or couch with a book. Explain to your family that this is a sacred time when you should not be disturbed. Try not to think about anything at this time, except for the forest, the river and the adventures of book heroes. Even if you can set aside only a quarter of an hour for such a rest, you can fully relax if you can distract yourself from business.

Step 7

Try to keep up with all your household chores on weekdays. Better to spend Thursday and Friday evenings cleaning up than killing Saturday nights. Be sure to leave yourself a day of the week completely free of all household and business chores. Spend your day the way you like it. Even if you chat with your friend on the phone all the time, this is your right.

Step 8

Spend your vacation on activities that you enjoy. If you approach the matter competently and show some firmness of character, you can relax at home. Of course, you still have to carry out some compulsory tasks. But keep them to a minimum and do what interests you personally.
