If you want to buy a beautiful and original postcard for your friend, family member or loved one, then you have a lot to choose from. In stores, postcards are presented in a wide range. And you try to make a postcard yourself, but not a simple one, but a voluminous one. There is nothing difficult here. Judge for yourself.
It is necessary
- Decorative paper in red;
- White cardboard;
- Button;
- Glue;
- Colored felt-tip pen (red);
- Red feather;
- Regular and embossed scissors;
- Pencil;
- Ruler;
- Openwork.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose yourself a three-dimensional drawing. Let it be, say, a snowman. Now take heavy red decorative paper and fold it in half. This will be the cover of the postcard. Now make a "filling" for it. To do this, take a white sheet of cardboard, cut a piece out of it according to the size of decorative paper.
Step 2
Draw three circles on the spread to form the outline of the snowman, and cut them along the outline, but not completely. Leave an intact outline on the sides of each circle. So your snowman will not be completely cut out and will stick to your postcard due to the contour sections untouched by scissors.
Step 3
Take the raised scissors and make the edges of the cardboard in a herringbone pattern. Now glue this cardboard to the decorative colored paper you prepared earlier with a glue stick. Place the glued parts under something heavy and wide so that all corners are glued.
Step 4
Use a colored felt-tip pen (color optional) to depict a festive inscription on the card, glue a button in the corner. You can also glue a feather on the left to match the color of the card itself. The feather can be painted in the desired color using spray paint. Now cut a long and wide strip from the openwork fabric to the height of your postcard. Glue this fabric onto the cover of the postcard using PVA or the same glue-stick.
Step 5
A very beautiful three-dimensional postcard is now finished. It turned out to be a pretty cute three-dimensional snowman. Besides a snowman, you can choose a flower, a human figure, or something else.
