To create a New Year's mood, you need to decorate the apartment. You can do this using traditional garlands and tinsel, or you can place pictures with New Year's characters on the walls.
Necessary
- - Photo frame;
- - old postcards or children's drawings;
- - napkins;
- - scissors;
- - plain light fabric;
- - batting or synthetic winterizer;
- - colored threads;
- - double-sided tape or nails with a hammer.
Instructions
Step 1
Print lots of pictures with New Year's scenes. Or find old postcards. You can also use children's drawings to decorate your apartment.
Step 2
Purchase inexpensive wooden photo frames from, for example, IKEA stores. Choose those that do not have glass, such products (this property is important if you do not want to drive dozens of nails into the walls) are both lighter and cheaper.
Step 3
Decorate wooden frames. Cut small snowflakes out of the foil. Paint the wood with blue or blue paint, use acrylic paints for wood, they will not leave marks on the walls and hands, or nail polish in the corresponding colors. When the paint dries, glue snowflakes onto the frames, bend their ends over the edges of the wooden product. Insert pictures into frames.
Step 4
Make soft snowmen. To do this, cut out two circles from the fabric for the lower and upper snowballs that make up this character. Also make patterns from batting (or padding polyester) one by one for the head and body, these details should be slightly larger. Place the circle of batting between the two fabrics, sew in a circle with a buttonhole so that the inner layer "peeks out". On a smaller snowball, embroider eyes and a carrot nose. Sew one circle onto the other. If you wish, you can knit hats and scarves for the snowmen.
Step 5
Cut out snowflakes from napkins. Attach them to the wall, spread the rays. If the wall covering material allows, use tiny pieces of double-sided tape or pencil glue.
Step 6
Attach the frames along the surface of the walls at different heights and at different angles right on top of the snowflakes, but so that most of each is visible. Use double-sided tape or regular nails.
