Planning a vacation or wanting to have a fun long weekend? To do this, it is worth checking out the production calendar for 2020.
The production calendar for 2020 has already been approved. There were some surprises: December 31 will be a working day, winter holidays will be only 8 days, but in February, March and June we will have three weekends in a row.
January
New Year's holidays in 2020 will be slightly less than usual - 8 days, from January 1st to January 8th inclusive. For a long time there has been controversy, is it good or bad when the holidays last 10 days? In 2020, apparently, a compromise was found. And even December 31, 2019 will be at least a short and pre-holiday, but still a working day.
February
February (29 days), slightly prolonged due to a leap year, will give 3 days off. Defender of the Fatherland Day falls on Sunday, in connection with which the day off will be postponed to Monday - February 24.
March
International Women's Day - March 8 also falls on Sunday and thus, we have 3 holidays: from 7 to 9 March.
April
Unfortunately, no holidays are foreseen in April, but April 30 is officially recognized as a pre-holiday day. In this connection, the working day is reduced by an hour.
May
May, as always, is rich in holidays. The first wave of holidays will last for 5 whole days: from May 1 to May 5. Then three days, from the 6th to the 8th, you will have to work. Moreover, the eighth is a shortened, pre-holiday day, which cannot but please. We will celebrate Victory Day for 3 days: from May 9 to 11 inclusive.
June
Day of Russia - June 12 - in a wonderful way in 2020 falls on Friday. This means that there will be 3 days off in a row: from 12 to 14 June. In addition, Thursday 11 June is a shortened pre-holiday day.
July
July will be a purely working month without additional days off, but since many take a vacation during this period, the question is "how to rest?" will fall off naturally.
August
Well, for those who did not have time to take a vacation in July and sat in the office in the heat, August is suitable, which also will not please with any additional day off.
September
There are no holidays in September either, it's time to get back to work. True, the velvet season has not been canceled either. It is not so hot anymore and there are fewer tourists.
October
We continue to work in October. There will be no holidays or pre-holidays.
November
And finally, the holiday comes to us. National Unity Day - November 4 - falls on Wednesday. We walk for only one day, but November 3 is a pre-holiday and short day.
December
December 31 falls on Thursday and will again be a working day, albeit a pre-holiday day. Well, then New Year's holidays and hello, new year!
