Sardinian Cavalcade (Cavalcade Sarda) - a festival taking place in the Italian city of Sassari. Its history is connected with a visit to the island of the King of Italy Umberto I in 1899, on the occasion of the arrival of the monarch, residents came out in traditional costumes to the streets of the city to greet him. Since 1951, the carnival has been held every year.
