It is not enough to cook a beautiful soap - you also need to choose such a package so that this beauty is not scary to take in your hands. Experienced soap makers each have their own branded wrapper, which makes their products easily recognizable.
It is necessary
- - Paper;
- - Tapes;
- - Braid;
- - Twine;
- - Cellophane;
- - Pieces of fabric;
- - Beads.
Instructions
Step 1
Paper wrapper. Paper gives artisans an infinitely wide scope for creativity. If you choose the right texture of paper to the texture of soap and write the ingredients on it, then the wrapper will become cognitive. If you tie an artistically made paper package with twine and put the dried herbs that are present in the soap recipe - chamomile, St. John's wort, mint, sage under it, then the wrapper will turn into a real hand-made.
Step 2
Some types of soap have their own unique packaging. So soap made entirely from olive oil - the so-called Castile soap - is usually stored in rough paper tied with a harsh string. A piece of cinnamon bark is attached to the soap boiled with cinnamon, and the herbal soaps are often simply tied with a paper ribbon patterned with these herbs.
Step 3
Plastic wrap. As a rule, homemade soap is distinguished not only by the sophistication of its composition, but also by its beautiful form. The soap is boiled in the form of berries, cakes, the pieces are made translucent and with different color stains, pieces of fruit, coffee grains, small shells and sponges are put inside the soap. It is a pity to hide such soap under an opaque shell, so it is wrapped in crispy polyethylene. This is done like this: take a piece of plastic wrapper in the shape of a square or circle, put a bar of soap in the middle, then wrap the edges over it so that the soap seems to lie in the center of the transparent bag. The bag is tied with a plastic or silk ribbon. In general, we can say that the same materials are used for the packaging of the soap as for the packaging of fresh cut flowers.
Step 4
Fabric bags are the oldest and most durable way to pack soap. Soap, put in bags, embroidered with beads, decorated with embroidery and applique, was used not only for its intended purpose, but also as a perfume for linen. Some pouches are only used for certain types of soaps: for example, a separate pouch for lavender soap, a separate pouch for verbena-scented soap. Especially beautiful bags are obtained in the patchwork or patchwork style.
