Celebrating a child's second birthday is not so easy, it is important to plan the holiday well. The kid is already old enough to understand and appreciate the holiday attributes, but he cannot play well, communicate, share toys yet, and too large a company and strangers can scare him.

Find good company for your little one. They can be crèche friends, sandpit friends, or little siblings. Decide which is more convenient for you - go to one of the children's entertainment facilities or organize a celebration of the second anniversary at home (while you will have to cook, clean up and do the dishes yourself). In the first case, find out in advance the schedule, prices, order tables, select the menu and decoration.

Please note that two-year-olds may be intimidated by animators, life-size puppets and clowns. If you do decide to order such services, make sure that the actors know how to work with babies (for example, ask for videos from such events, read reviews). Best of all, if someone from your acquaintances changes into a clown or a funny character, so that the child can always make sure that there is nothing wrong.

If the holiday will be held in an apartment, prepare it in advance. Remove all breakable and valuable objects, decorate rooms with balls and garlands. Prepare treats separately for children and parents. Pay attention to the absence of allergens, harmful products in the children's menu, you should not give a lot of sweets.

Be sure to buy or bake a cake for the birthday person, decorate it with two candles (or one, with the number "2"). The baby will be delighted with a cake of an unusual shape, in the form of an animal, a car or other toy. Make sure that only safe ingredients are included in the cake.

Of course, you can't do without a birthday present for your birthday. But small children do not always perceive other people's toys correctly, so prepare small gifts for other guests that they can take home.

Prepare contests for children (the simplest ones, for example, destroying a tower of plastic cups with a ball, racing soft toys, etc.). Put on a small show, a puppet show. The kids will be very happy at the disco - turn on rhythmic music and dance all together.
