A child's birthday often becomes a real challenge for parents - after all, you need to invite other children and entertain all this noisy and restless company. The ideal solution for the holiday are various contests that will bring a lot of pleasure to children - but subject to all the rules of their organization.
Instructions
Step 1
To create an entertaining competition program, select the competitions that you or your child would like to host and combine them into a thematic scenario. Be sure to take care of the prizes that will be issued for winning a particular competition. Think over the whole program with your child - let him act as a presenter who will pull out the numbers, or announce the numbers of the winners.
Step 2
Do not forget to prepare the necessary equipment for the competition - colored paper, balloons, pencils, felt-tip pens, chocolate medals, cardboard masks, and so on. For young children (two to five years old), choose easy and simple contests - for example, a dance marathon, treasure hunt in a room, or throwing balls into the ring. Older children will appreciate more interesting and challenging contests - gluing an airplane model, building a house from a construction set, solving puzzles, and so on. At the same time, make sure that the task does not require more than 20-30 minutes and great mental effort - otherwise the children will simply lose interest in the competition.
Step 3
An interesting contest "Merry Mail" is suitable for all ages - place small parcels with surprises inside (according to the number of participants) on the floor in a circle, leaving one parcel with you. Let the children stand in a circle and begin to dance to the music, and when you turn it off, everyone must grab the package for themselves. Hand your package to the child who did not get the package from the circle and continue the competition until the final delivery of surprises. Also a great competition is "Show and repeat" (for children from 5 to 11 years old) - put the children in a circle and let each of them come up with an action. The first participant must show his idea, and each subsequent child must repeat it, complementing his own - and so on. Erroneous players are eliminated from the competition.
Step 4
Young guests will also be interested in the Alphabet Lunch competition, which can be held before a festive dinner to whet the children's appetite. The first participant names the dish that he allegedly ate and which begins with "a" - all other participants continue after him, naming the names of the dishes of the previous participants and their dishes in alphabetical order. A child who repeats the already named dish is eliminated from the competition.
