Usually, an extensive program for children is provided for City Day. If you have a child, you can go with him to one of the squares, where animators disguised as cartoon characters will hold various contests and sing songs with the children.

Another of the interesting events traditionally held on the City Day is the fair of craftsmen. Behind long rows of counters, both folk craftsmen, weaving from vines and making dishes from clay, and craftsmen who prefer modern types of hand-made: plastic molding, quilling, scrapbooking, peacefully coexist. Fairs often host master classes where everyone can learn how to make soap and weave bracelets.
Step 5
In the late afternoon, folk groups give way to popular artists. If you want to see the celebrity up close, come to the site in advance. However, if you do not want to be surrounded on all sides by fans, it is better to stay away - you can dance for your own pleasure and do not risk being crushed by the crowd.
Step 6
A festive fireworks display will be an excellent end to the City Day. Throwing your head back, you can enjoy the amazing spectacle together with the rest of the inhabitants of your birthday town.
