The angler's ice fishing rod is used to fish from ice through pre-drilled holes. The requirements for it are as follows: compactness, low weight, correctly selected center of gravity and ease of winding the line.
It is necessary
- Materials:
- - dense sheet polystyrene or plastic with a thickness of 10 mm and a size of about 100 by 100 mm;
- - a small wire plastic reel without attachments to the rod or an empty reel from the line, with a capacity of 30 meters;
- - fishing rod whip;
- - a piece of a thin-walled metal tube 50 mm long and 5-7 mm in diameter (the diameter must match the butt of the whip).
- Tools:
- - ruler;
- - compasses;
- - pencil or thin felt-tip pen;
- - clerical or just a very sharp knife;
- - glue "Moment" or similar.
Instructions
Step 1
Marking and manufacturing of the rod body
Attach the coil to the workpiece closer to one of the corners and at a symmetrical distance of about two centimeters from the edges, circle the contour of the coil. Carefully cut the resulting circle, align and sand the edges with sandpaper. Adjust the hole to the dimensions of the coil so that it passes with some interference. Draw the outlines of the body, which should look like a blob. If you are using a regular line spool, then there is no need to cut a through hole, and the spool is glued either into the recess or over the body.
Step 2
Installing the whip
It is impossible to make a winter fishing rod without a whip, which must be prepared in advance. In the body, drill a hole for the tube into which the whip will be installed. If the thickness of the plastic is not enough, then glue another layer on the cone of the body. Then, first, the tube is glued into the body of the body, and then after the glue dries, a whip is inserted into it and also fixed with glue.
Step 3
Place a nod at the end of the whip. You can make it yourself from a polymer plate, treated clock springs, woven lavsan, or you can buy a ready-made one. The nod mount depends on its design, but mainly consists of several cambric.
The rod is now ready and ready to equip.
