For connoisseurs of nature, artificial spruces have long been invented. A correctly chosen PVC tree will serve you for many years, delighting you with its appearance from year to year. The undoubted advantage of an artificial Christmas tree is that buying it preserves our nature. Having bought it once, you will save yourself from the annual search for a beautiful tree for the New Year's holiday.
Instructions
Step 1
When choosing artificial spruce, pay attention to the country of origin. Chinese options are cheap in price, but their quality is "lame". Christmas trees, which are as similar to real ones as possible, are brought from countries such as Germany, Italy or the Netherlands. They are much more expensive, but you can rest assured that they are of excellent quality. Christmas trees from Taiwan and Poland will be medium in price. Russian trees are also not bad in quality, the price for them is slightly lower than foreign ones.
Step 2
When buying, pay attention to the smell of the New Year's beauty. Artificial spruce should not have a pungent, unpleasant odor. This smell indicates that the manufacturer has added phenol compounds to the material. And this is dangerous to health.
Step 3
The stand and trunk of the tree must be sturdy. It is good if the stand is not plastic, but metal, no chips or cracks will appear on it. The spruce frame must support not only the branches, but also many toys on them.
Step 4
The branches of the artificial tree must be securely attached to the trunk. In expensive models, the branches are not removed, they fold like an umbrella. They are simply spread out, giving the tree a lush and festive look. In cheaper models, the branches are supplied separately. They are attached to the barrel with fasteners. Check them out at such a tree. All branches of any artificial spruce must be flexible and mobile. This is necessary in order to give the tree the desired shape.
Step 5
The needles on the branches can be hard, soft, or papery. Paper needles are usually impregnated with a special solution, which, unfortunately, burns well. Therefore, such a spruce is not safe when decorated with a garland. In addition, paper needles are very wrinkled and short-lived.
When choosing a Christmas tree with PVC needles, check to see if they fall out. To do this, stroke the "soft" tree against the growth of the needles, and from the "hard" one try to pull out a few pieces. If the needles are firmly attached to the branches, then you can check them for fire safety. To do this, ask the seller to set fire to several pulled out needles. If they light up, then feel free to dismiss this purchase option. Now manufacturers add substances to the needles that prevent them from catching fire. These needles will slowly melt.
Step 6
If there are additional accessories on the tree, then they are also worth a closer look. The garland on the tree must have documents that contain information about its power and place of use. The balls should be free of chips, even and smooth. Other toys should also be free from cracks, breaks, or scuffs.
