A skillfully arranged fireworks display is fantastic in its beauty, but only if all safety rules are followed. Otherwise, the holiday can be overshadowed by injuries, burns and other troubles.
To prevent this from happening, you need to show special care and caution when handling pyrotechnics.
To launch the fireworks, select an area at least 25 meters away from buildings. The radius of the site must correspond to the danger zone specified in the attached instructions. It is strictly forbidden to launch on the roofs of houses, from loggias, balconies and other protruding parts of buildings. Do not launch near oil trunk pipelines, gas pipelines, as well as at gas stations, cars and power lines.
Before you start, pay attention to the appearance of the products - they should not have dents, cracks or other damage to the body and wick. Read the instructions carefully.
Do not leave pyrotechnic items next to one that has already been activated. Make sure that those present move away from the fireworks at a safe distance of 30-40 meters.
Light the wick at arm's length, preferably with a long fireplace match or a lighted sparkler. Pyrotechnics cannot be launched by hand. Before launch, the rocket is firmly stuck into the ground or snow. The Roman candle is buried two-thirds into the ground or tied to a pin so that it does not change its position and trajectory during launch. The fireworks batteries are securely reinforced with stones, earth or bricks so that the shooting does not go in the direction of the audience.
If the pyrotechnics did not work, do not approach it for 10 minutes. Never lean over the box or try to take it apart. Carefully place the unused product in a bucket of water and leave for a day, after which it can be disposed of with household waste.
Do not change the design of rockets on your own, do not insert pyrotechnics into glass jars or bottles - there is a high probability that the fragments will injure not only you, but also passers-by.
Never throw pyrotechnics into a fire. Make sure that it does not fall into the hands of children under the age of 14.
There should be no pets in the area where the fireworks are launched - volleys can scare them. The launch area should be free of trees and flammable objects.
In place of "shooting" you should take a bucket of water or a dry powder fire extinguisher. These means cannot stop the burning of pyrotechnic compositions, but they will prevent the spread of the flame to other charges.
