On New Year's Eve, time flies unnoticed, the mood is cheerful, and drinks flow like a river. In addition, the neighbors on the table usually strictly make sure that each new glass is drunk to the bottom. Keeping a clear head is not easy in such a situation.
Instructions
Step 1
Control the amount of alcohol you drink. Stretch one glass as long as possible. Remember, the sooner you drink, the sooner it will be refilled. Do not be persuaded to drink to the bottom every time.
Step 2
Have a snack after each drink. Better yet, eat something before the first glass, because an empty stomach is one of the reasons for fast intoxication. Among the snacks, choose the most fatty dishes, it is believed that alcohol dissolves in fat. If you have a problem with eating too fatty foods, eat as much meat as possible.
Step 3
Leave the table more often, preferably into fresh air. This will allow not only to take the necessary breaks between glasses in 15-20 minutes, but also to sober up a drunken head from time to time. Just be sure to get dressed before going out, otherwise you may get a cold instead of a hangover.
Step 4
Follow the rules for mixing alcohol. Remember that grape drinks should never be combined with cereals such as brandy, whiskey or vodka. And the best thing to do is to stop at a single species.
Step 5
Drink as much non-alcoholic liquids as possible. It will help reduce the concentration of alcohol in the blood. Preference should be given to juice or plain water. Carbonated drinks should be completely excluded from consumption, since gases increase the work of the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to the rapid absorption of alcohol.
Step 6
There are also folk remedies and ways not to get drunk on New Year's Eve. For example, a tablespoon of vegetable oil drunk before the first glass or a slice of citrus fruit eaten as a snack. Only the latter must be necessarily with zest. However, these methods must be combined with all of the above, otherwise there will be no effect, and you are unlikely to be able to remember something in the morning.
