Before the New Year, people decorate their homes and even offices. The main attribute of this holiday is the Christmas tree. Of course, a real or artificial tree can simply be bought and luxuriously decorated with colorful toys, garlands, shiny tinsel, pine cones and sweets. Or you can try to make a small miracle from improvised material, for example, postcards, and give it to friends or put it on your desk. It's unusual, interesting and will cheer you up.

Step 1
A Christmas tree can be made from a postcard in the literal sense of the word. Take a rectangular piece of coated cardboard about half the size of a double postcard. In the middle of the cardboard, draw the outline of the tree on the leg. Then draw along this contour with a sharp blade, leaving only one short line intact - the bottom of the leg. Now, when you click on the outline, the cut out tree will easily separate and stand on its leg. Color in the resulting figurine. This piece of cardboard can now be pasted into a clean double greeting card. When a person opens a congratulation, he can lift and place the Christmas tree.
Step 2
Alternatively, you can take a beautiful piece of cardboard of some bright color and cut out the entire outline of the tree. Try to decorate the edge of the cutout, for example, with sparkles. To do this, draw along the contour with a brush with glue and pour in glitter. Then glue a piece of cardboard into the card. In the center of the cut out outline, write your congratulations and wishes.
Step 3
A very effective Christmas tree can turn out like this. Take some long strips of green paper. They should be the same in length but different in width. The widest one will be at the base of the tree, and the narrowest one at the top. Fold each strip into an accordion fold. You should have long accordions with vertical edges. "Accordions" will need to be glued into a double vertical postcard (the one that folds in half). Glue the extreme edges into the postcard so that the "accordion" converges in the very corner of the postcard. Arrange the strips from bottom to top, from widest to narrowest. In the upper corner, glue the star separately. When you open the card, the accordions will disperse beautifully, and you will see the image of the Christmas tree.
Step 4
A great tree will come out of several vertical postcards of the same size that are folded in half. Take such a card and cut a triangle out of it so that its base is at the bottom of the card, and the sharp corner is at the top, in the corner of the fold. You can cut it not in a straight line, but by making wavy lines resembling branches of a Christmas tree.
Step 5
After all the cards have been cut out, join them together with folds, securing them with paper clips or placing them on a plastic base (made of clay, plasticine, or even chewing gum). The top of the tree is secured with a homemade star cone. For beauty, you can grease the edges of the cards with glue and sprinkle them with multi-colored sparkles. This Christmas tree can be decorated with beaded garlands, miniature homemade toys, pine cones, fruits.
Step 6
A beautiful Christmas tree can also be made from "petals" cut out of postcards. To do this, you will first need to make a cone out of paper or cardboard - the frame of the future Christmas tree. Then cut out the petals from the cards in a triangular, but not even geometric shape. You glue the upper, narrow part of the petal to the cone, and bend the lower one a little so that the “branch” of the Christmas tree turns out to be voluminous. Start glueing the cone with petals from the bottom row. Moreover, the lowest row of petals should go beyond the edge of the cone. The next row of petals should slightly cover the top of the previous row. Decorate the top of the Christmas tree with an elegant top in the form of a star, angel, etc.
