What you need:

  • several large strawberries (at least 10 pieces);

How to do:

  • granulated sugar, about 100 grams;
  • icing sugar, tablespoon;
  • plain flour, 100 grams.

How to make a dessert for Valentine's Day? Eggs should be mixed with sugar and lemon zest. Beat the mixture well so that it turns out to be light in color. Then stir in flour and cocoa, making sure that there are no lumps. Gently spread the resulting dough on parchment paper so that a not quite thin crust comes out. The base for the chocolate-banana roll is baked for 8-10 minutes (the oven is heated to 180 degrees).

When the biscuit is ready, it must be removed from the oven, carefully transferred to the prepared surface and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Then gently roll into a roll and allow to cool. Thus, the dough will take the desired shape and will hold after adding the filling.

The filling for the roll is made as follows:

  1. the cream is whipped until an active, voluminous foam;
  2. bananas are chopped either on their own, but very carefully, or in a blender; lemon juice must be added to them; juice in this case is needed not for taste, but so that the banana puree does not darken;
  3. chocolate should be crushed into small pieces or shavings made from it;
  4. all the ingredients are combined: first the chocolate pieces are added to the whipped cream, and then the banana; or banana puree can be left alone with the second filling option, then it is superimposed on top of the cream and chocolate.

The final action: open the roll, grease the inside with a lot of filling (or fillings), wrap it up again and now you can eat with pleasure. For decoration on top, you can use grated chocolate, chocolate syrup, ready-made whipped cream, icing or cocoa, powdered sugar, or other options based on your taste preferences.
