A dacha is a life-saving outlet for a city dweller, an opportunity to breathe fresh air, relax and at the same time not spend too much money. But when we take children to the dacha, we often encounter resistance: boring! Indeed, getting to the dacha, children may not immediately figure out what to do.
In order for the child to enjoy spending time in the country, the rest must be properly organized. This will require spending not only your time, but also part of the territory. Summer residents, who are very sensitive to the harvest, will have to tune in in advance: perhaps not all summer cottages will safely tolerate a child's visit. So what can you do with your child at the dacha? Playground Children are happy to play on their own playground. Even a minimal set - a sandpit and a swing - can captivate not only a kid, but also a younger student for a long time. If there is no site, so much the better - get down to business together. Few of the children will refuse to hammer nails into the boards with their dad or grandfather, paint them, fill in sand, hang a hammock. If you organize the process correctly, children will be happy to do small work in the country. Find out what gives them more pleasure. Someone will be happy to tinker with the beds, lay out the seeds in the holes and then carefully cover them with earth. Older children can easily handle the hose, and the younger ones willingly water the beds from the watering can. And surely none of the children will refuse to help with the harvest: find the largest cucumber or the reddest tomato, pick a raspberry bush. Even if the raspberries go not to the basket, but straight to the mouth, the child will be happy and busy with the work. Caring for the plants If children visit the country often, they can take their own small garden bed, let them plant anything there and take care of the plants. This is a very useful activity: the child learns patience, responsibility and gets an idea of how vegetables, berries and flowers grow. In addition, self-grown tomatoes and zucchini are much tastier than ordinary ones. Playing with water There is not always a spacious playground in the country, but there is usually water. You can arrange a canal or a pool: dig it out, lay it with polyethylene so that the water does not leak away, and launch toy fish or boats in it, bathe dolls. If the weather is good, you can splash with water pistols or pour in the children's pool and splash there.
