But you hardly want to live in a damp tent and sleep, fully feeling the terrain under your back, as well as cook porridge in the rain, it is better to equip a camping and life in it.

Step 1
Perhaps the most important piece of equipment is a great and high quality camping tent, which is not much different from a real home. You can enter it without bending your head, it has a separate bedroom, and sometimes more than one. Many camping tents have a large corridor or hallway that can accommodate a dining room or kitchen.
Step 2
It is undesirable that your resting place could be seen from the road; the entrance should be convenient, so that it does not turn limp in case of heavy rain. If there are several tents, put them in a circle, with entrances facing each other, leave a place for setting up a tent, which will serve as a place for eating. Use self-inflating mats in tents with a thickness of five to ten centimeters - this is excellent thermal insulation from the ground and maximum comfort.

It is still recommended to sleep in sleeping bags or blankets, they are very comfortable and practical for this type of rest. So, now you need to start arranging the dining room-kitchen. What is a kitchen without a table? The compact fold-out table will allow you to cook, cut and eat as comfortably as possible without the fear of sand or debris. It is still better to sit on folding chairs or armchairs, which are very comfortable and compact during transportation.
Step 4
If suddenly you are caught by the rain, and you really want to eat or drink hot tea, you cannot do without a gas burner. There are several types of burners: liquid fuel, gas or multi-fuel. But still, you should opt for a gas burner with a remote hose and piezo ignition. Use only branded gas cans and do not recharge used cans.
Step 5
Light up your camping tent and table with lanterns, luckily the choice is huge. You can use gas lanterns that work from the same cans as the burner, and also give out a power of 40-120 watts. This kind of lighting will allow you to prolong the fun and feast for the whole night. Never use a gas lantern to illuminate an enclosed space in a tent, otherwise you can get burned, an LED camping lantern is best suited for illumination.
Step 6
Have a fire at least seven meters away from tents and nearby trees. Dig a hole for the future fireplace by removing the sod. On the upwind side, arrange some kind of wind barrier. Place a sink with water near the tents. To store food, dig a kind of cellar and pour a bucket of river water, the water will be absorbed and the basement will be cooler. Line the bottom with oilcloth, arrange food and cover with boards.
