During the wedding feast, two bottles of champagne are placed in front of the newlyweds. They stand all evening on the table, and the newlyweds take them with them. The first bottle of champagne is opened on the wedding anniversary, and the second on the birthday of the first child. It is customary to decorate these bottles, but if you do not want to use the services of specialized salons, you can decorate the bottles yourself.

Step 1
One way to decorate bottles is to sew a petite bride dress and groom's suit and put them on the bottles. These outfits take time to create. If there is a needlewoman among the bridesmaids, ask her to do the costumes. It is good if the dress on the bottle will be combined with the dress of the bride. Don't forget the groom's bow tie or tie. These bottles look funny.
Step 2
The bottles can be decorated with painting. To do this, draw a border of the picture on the glass with a special contour (gold, silver or bronze), wait for the outline to dry and carefully paint the picture. Use special acrylic paints, do not thin them with water, as they will lose their durability. Try not to paint over the contour line - this will give the drawing a stained glass effect. Paint both bottles in the same style, but not necessarily the same.
Step 3
Since champagne bottles are usually made of dark glass, they will look advantageous with light décor elements. To decorate, take a long light round cord in cross section, fix it with glue at the bottom of the bottle. Wrap the bottle in a spiral, somewhere the cord lay the ring tightly to the ring, somewhere with an indent from the previous row by 0.5-1 cm. At the neck, fix the cord with glue so that it does not interfere with opening the bottles. Sew gold beads and roses from ribbons onto the cord - you can in any order, or you can in piles.
Step 4
If you know how to crochet, knit a bottle case out of white thread. You should not knit it with a dense knit, it is better that the cover is openwork and, as it were, consisted of lace. Decorate the finished cover with beads, ribbons, ribbon flowers and sparkles. Try to choose flowers that are not very large - they will look cumbersome.
Step 5
Bottles painted in contrasting colors look spectacular. Color one bottle black and the other white. On the black bottle closer to the base, glue a wide strip of white lace, and on the white bottle - the same lace, only black. You don't need to add anything else, this decoration looks laconic and a little gothic.
