But the German scientist Heinrich Hemme compiled a calendar of celebrations for those born on the twenty-ninth of February. He argues that you can celebrate a birthday every year, but the day should depend on the hour of birth of each specific person. Thus, those who were born on the night of the twenty-eighth to the twenty-ninth of February can celebrate their personal holiday on the previous day. Those born between six in the morning and twelve on the twenty-ninth of February, the first two years (of the three non-leap years) should celebrate the birthdays of the twenty-eighth February, and in the third year - the first of March. Accordingly, those born between twelve in the afternoon and six in the evening should celebrate birthdays in the first year on February 28th, and the next two on March 1st. Well, those born closer to the end of February twenty-ninth with a clear conscience can celebrate their day on the first day of spring.
It should be noted that the probability of being born on this day is not very high - only 1 in 1461.
However, to say that February twenty-ninth is a day that happens every four years is not entirely correct. In fact, it happens every year, just three out of four, only a minute is allotted to the fraction of this day - between midnight and one minute of the first. It's a great time to have a little celebration.
Many parents try to enroll a child born on February twenty-ninth for the coming days so as not to deprive him of the holidays, although, on the other hand, a child with such an unusual date of birth, as a rule, becomes a celebrity among peers.
