Instructions
Step 1
Make a round box for gifts that are heavy and fragile. Draw two circles on colored cardboard, the diameter of which exceeds the diameter of the gift by 1 cm. To make the side wall of the package, draw a rectangle 1.5 cm higher than the height of the gift, and 1 cm longer than the circumference at the base of the box. Make another rectangular piece the same long, and reduce the height to 2.5 cm.
Step 2
On each rectangular piece, draw a dotted line along the long side, 1 cm away from it. Perpendicular to this segment, make notches at a distance of 1.5 cm from each other.
Step 3
Cut out the elements and glue the box. Bend the rectangles along the dotted line, grease the notched area with glue and attach to the bottom and lid of the box. The width of the side seam should not be more than 1 cm.
Step 4
Pack a stronger round present in a gift bag. Cut out two identical rectangles from any fabric (lace will look especially festive), round the bottom corners. Sew around the perimeter, leaving the top of the pouch unstitched. Step 5 cm from the edge of the package and fix the eyelets at this level. Thread them with a matching lace and tie a bag with a gift.
Step 5
Packaging made with a jute cord and a balloon can overshadow the gift itself. Inflate the balloon to the size of the item you want to pack and brush with oil or cream. Using a jute thread needle, pierce the jar of PVA glue through. While pulling the thread through the glue, wrap the ball. When the layer is thick enough, cut off the thread and let the piece dry for about a week. Then pierce the ball. Cut the round cocoon in half, leaving about 1 / 10th the part that will connect the two halves of the thread ball intact. Glue a thin satin ribbon around the edges of the slices.
Step 6
Use the papier-mâché technique to make a round box. Use sculptural clay to mold half a sphere of a suitable size. Paste it over with 8 layers of paper torn into pieces: alternate a layer soaked in PVA with a layer of paper soaked in water. After two days, carefully remove half of the papier-mâché and build another in the same way.
Step 7
Fasten the finished parts with a thin strip of paper. Paint the box with acrylic paint or decorate with pasted beads, feathers, pieces of fabric.
