Patriotic education is an integral part of the educational process. Many parents place the main burden of education on the school, so the role of the class teacher in creating images of the heroic past in the minds of students should not be underestimated. We have something to be proud of, that to protect is our history, these are our loved ones, and perhaps not a single event in the past touches our hearts so much as the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. On Victory Day, it is important to show the children what this victory was worth.
Instructions
Step 1
In fact, there are many ways to spend Victory Day. In any case, preparation for it must begin long before the celebration itself. If this holiday is celebrated not within the framework of classes, but taken out as a school-wide event, then the class teachers first discuss the general program of the celebration, and then assign specific numbers to the classes.
Step 2
The class teacher, in turn, gathers his students for an extra-curricular hour, where everyone decides together who will sing, who will dance, who will recite poetry. Usually, teachers have already prepared specific proposals, but if the children themselves show initiative, then it should be encouraged in every possible way. Children need to have space and time for rehearsals.
Step 3
In addition to musical and theatrical performances, each class will have to present a wall newspaper dedicated to May 9th. For the creation of a wall newspaper, you must also appoint responsible persons, give materials (paints, Whatman paper). And on Victory Day, a competition should be held, the winners of which will receive prizes.
Step 4
It is imperative to organize meetings between students and veterans. Yes, there are fewer and fewer of them every year, but the more valuable each meeting with them. Children, no matter how active they are, are always interested in communicating with witnesses of such distant terrible events.
Step 5
On the holiday itself, you need to arrange a festive lineup with the construction, raising of the national flag and listening to the anthem of Russia. Both the participants of the Second World War themselves and the participants of other military conflicts can congratulate the guys.
Step 6
Another of the activities can be a visit to the museum of military glory, military equipment and so on. Better if it is an open-air museum, where children will be allowed to touch the steel giants, read their combat characteristics, and hear interesting stories related to these combat units.
Step 7
You can end the holiday by laying flowers at memorial plaques, obelisks, and the Eternal Flame.
Step 8
Do not think that such days will be quickly forgotten. Celebrating Victory Day is a very good opportunity to influence children, give them a reason to be proud and become real patriots of our country.
