If you have acquired a boomerang, then you should figure out how this thing works and learn how to throw correctly. However, there is nothing difficult in this, there would be desire and space.
It is necessary
- - boomerang,
- - open space.
Instructions
Step 1
First, choose a site where you will learn how to handle a boomerang. Find a stadium, playground, wasteland with a diameter of at least 40-50 meters. Never exercise in crowded places where a boomerang can easily injure someone. The person throwing the boomerang must be located strictly in the center of the chosen area. The trajectory of the boomerang is like a figure eight - first it will describe a loop in front of you, then behind your back. Being strictly in the center, you will protect yourself from possible injuries.
Step 2
Feel the boomerang well. As a rule, one of its sides is flat, and the other is convex. The convex side in flight should be directed towards the sky. Hold the boomerang by the tip (no more than 3 cm in your hand) between your thumb, middle and forefinger. This grip is convenient for a light implement. A heavy boomerang is best held in a fist. In this case, the thumb should be pressed against the convex side of the boomerang.
Step 3
Many beginners try to launch a boomerang parallel to the ground. And you need to do exactly the opposite. It should be almost perpendicular to the horizon, with a slight tilt to the right. Otherwise, the boomerang will simply fly up sharply and immediately collapse downward.
Step 4
The throw must be strong and sharp. After all, a boomerang needs not only to fly away from you, but also to return. If the throw was not strong enough, the boomerang will fall somewhere on the court, and you will not get the expected effect. The tool should be caught with a slapping motion of the palms placed horizontally one on top of the other.
Step 5
Consider the wind. In principle, if there is a wind speed of 2 m / s, you can throw a boomerang. Direct it towards the wind, slightly to the right of its movement. But for beginners it is better to refrain from such an undertaking altogether. The skill to handle a boomerang in windy weather comes with experience.
