For two years in a row, the Moscow edition of Afisha-Food has been organizing a Food Festival in the capital, which gathers in the fresh air all those who wish to enjoy delicious dishes and purchase fresh natural products. The event takes place on the last weekend of summer in Gorky Park.

On the day of the holiday, many tents and field kitchens are set up on the territory of the Golitsyn Ponds, where the best chefs of Moscow restaurants prepare gastronomic delights for all guests. All cooked dishes can be bought and tasted right there, sitting at one of the many arranged tables with comfortable armchairs or sofas. Well, you can take your favorite delicacy with you home.

Famous metropolitan chefs and gastronomy specialists share the secrets of their skills at the festival, teaching spectators at special master classes on cooking various dishes. At the Food Festival, you can learn, for example, how to properly cut different types of meat or learn how to cook real Uzbek pilaf. In addition, the chefs talk about the benefits and specifics of certain products and treat guests with created culinary masterpieces.

There are many retail outlets in the park where you can buy fresh and natural fruits, vegetables and meat. Eco products are especially popular, which can also be found at this event. At the Food Festival there is an opportunity to buy kitchen utensils or professional equipment for cooking, dear to the heart of the hostess.

Separate counters are dedicated to the freshest confectionery and national cuisine of the peoples of the former USSR. There you can taste real Azerbaijani pilaf, freshly prepared Georgian khinkali, tender khachapuri and much more.

Entrance to the food festival, which runs from noon to 10pm, is by ticket. The price for an adult is approximately 800 rubles, for a child - 300 rubles. Children under 10 years old admission is free. It is allowed to take small dogs, cameras and various things for a comfortable stay with you, for example, a blanket and a pillow.
