Most peoples have traditions of hospitality. And almost always the concept of "welcoming a guest" includes the idea of a delicious and plentiful treat. Today, there are many ways to feed guests. It is worth taking a closer look at some of them.
Instructions
Step 1
Traditional treats Some salads, cold or hot, 1-2 hot dishes (chicken, fish, meat) and a selection of drinks. This is the menu of a traditional home feast. Dishes can be prepared by yourself if you have certain skills or have access to a recipe book. However, this is not at all necessary, since there is a ready-made food delivery service in any city. By the way, if young people are going to have fun, alien to traditional values, then it is the delivery service that will help organize the gastronomic component of the gatherings. Through it you can order sushi or pizza from the nearest restaurants.
Step 2
Dining in nature is another kind of traditional treat for guests. There is only one condition: you can cook this only when the owners gather guests in a country house. If there is a country house or cottage, a place for a barbecue or a barbecue device, you can make great meals in the fresh air. These can be pre-pickled or raw pieces of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and mushrooms. What could be tastier than a smoky hot barbecue, a slice of baked pepper, eggplant, drops of narsharab or tkemali and a glass of ruby Cabernet Sauvignon?
Step 3
Tea Party If the party is meant to be a tea party, then the menu can be limited to a pie (cake), sandwiches, jams, honey and sliced lemon. All this can be bought in the store, but a warm, fragrant pie with fruit baked by the hostess and served to the table will certainly be a pleasant surprise for the guests.
Step 4
A buffet table may well compete with a traditional treat. What is it like? "Buffet" means "fork". Guests do not sit at tables, but eat while standing, choosing snacks and drinks prepared and served in advance. Moreover, light snacks are often used as food at the buffet table - tiny canapes, olives, cheese, meat delicacies, pieces of fruit, and the like.
Step 5
Fondue One of the more recent types of treats is fondue. They say that cooking together brings people together very much, which means that fondue is a great idea for gatherings of people who want to make communication more friendly. Fondue is a dish cooked in a cakelon dish. Preparation of fondue: - cheese with white wine and starch is melted in a caquelon (basic recipe, to which you can add garlic, herbs, spices);
- then the pot is served on the burner (so that the cheese does not freeze), forks on a very long handle are attached to it - one per guest;
- together with the wine-cheese mixture, mushrooms, slices of bread, sausage, ham, vegetables, pre-cut into small pieces, are placed on the table. During gatherings, each guest can prick a piece they like on their fork, dip it into the cheese mixture and eat. Thus, people prepare themselves a tasty treat according to their appetite. By the way, fondue can be not only with cheese, but also with broth. In this case, as appetizers, it is appropriate to serve pieces of meat, fish, mushrooms and even dumplings (of course, defrosted). There is a fondue with chocolate. Instead of broth or cheese mixture, there is melted chocolate in the bowl. For the chocolate fondue, sliced fresh fruits and berries (such as strawberries) are offered.
