Instructions

Step 1

The Day of the Cultural Worker is celebrated by all representatives of the creative professions, as well as those who are engaged in art. Those who preserve and care for the fruits of cultural heritage, for example, museum workers, librarians and others, also refer to this day as their professional holiday.

Step 2

The decision to celebrate the Day of the Cultural Worker was not taken spontaneously. The Minister of Culture A. S. Sokolov in 2007 noted that some regions and republics of the country have long celebrated such a day, but each constituent entity of the Russian Federation introduced it of its own free will, so no one has the same dates. And, since such a tendency is present, you can make the holiday a federal one by setting aside a special day for holding it, so that it is more convenient to congratulate cultural workers. It was after his speech on this topic that it was decided to give the holiday a state status and equate it with other professional days celebrated by representatives of various fields of activity.

Step 3

The decree on the celebration of the Day of the Worker of Culture was signed on August 28 of the same year by V. V. Putin, the current president of the country. Since then, all cultural workers, in whatever area they work, celebrate their professional holiday on March 25. It allowed to unite all those who previously celebrated Museum Day, Writer's Day, Book Day, Historical Monument Day, or other similar dates.

Step 4

It is believed that for the first time in the history of Russia, the holiday was widely celebrated in the Moscow region, in the Naro-Fominsk region. This happened long before the official date was adopted. In 1996, it was decided to celebrate the day of the cultural worker, and February 14 was chosen as the date of the celebration. In the Naro-Fominsk region, they even established the Open Heart award, and for 15 years it was awarded on this day to the best cultural workers of the region. The title of the award correlated with Valentine's Day, which falls on the same date.

Step 5

During the Day of the Cultural Worker, there are usually no big and loud celebrations, but people themselves always celebrate it with pleasure. They give each other flowers and postcards, arrange corporate celebrations, and some creative funds timed the presentation of prizes and awards to this day. Sometimes, on the Day of the Worker of Culture, its best workers are awarded the title of Honorary Workers of Culture. The state authorities are also trying to encourage creative people closer to this date.

Step 6

The Day of the Cultural Worker is an important and significant holiday for every person, even for those whose profession is far from the types of employment traditionally understood as creative. Culture is the common heritage of all mankind, it is the ability not only to produce artistic values, but also to take care of everything that has already accumulated in mankind. Among other things, culture is also good breeding, the ability to behave and live in harmony with others.

Step 7

On this day, the whole family can go to a museum or theater, tell the smallest any amazing stories about art. You can go to enjoy the contemplation of the masterpieces of world art even alone. For a number of Russians, it would be a good idea to celebrate a day of culture if they decided to dispose of garbage only in specially designated places.
