Large event agencies begin to prepare for New Year's corporate parties in July. If a company comes to the agency in September-October, it often turns out that large sites are already occupied. Those who have already encountered such a problem reserve New Year's places in advance. Therefore, preparation for the holiday begins somewhere in six months.
A typical day for preparing an event manager for an event looks something like this: a real "brainstorming" is being arranged in the office. And here absolutely all employees can offer ideas. Then narrow specialists get down to business:
• Artists in charge try to get the best artists and performers.
• Props managers design games and costumes.
• The banquet manager takes care of how to comfortably accommodate all guests, how to please vegetarian guests, how to end the dinner brightly and positively. You can end the festive evening with a final meal (such as a cake), street fireworks, or a live band performance.
Most often, clients of an event manager start a conversation with the following phrase: "We want something different from everyone else!" So we have to organize a laser show, freeze it with liquid nitrogen, and hold contests in the pool.
Not without unpleasant surprises, the "law of meanness" sometimes works here as well. Sometimes electricians do not calculate the load, the lighting goes out and the equipment does not turn on. Then an urgent search for a generator begins.
Every year event managers manage to celebrate the New Year at least twenty times, and when asked how they themselves will spend the New Year, they answer: "Quiet, calm, with family."
