In interior design, there is a fashion for vintage, which includes many components - from room decoration and furnishings to knick-knacks. Lovers of antiquity can even dress up a New Year tree with traditional decorations that will take on a new sound. So, among the Christmas tree decorations today there are angels, reminiscent of old products made of papier-mâché, cotton wool, cardboard, and ceramics. Try to make such a figurine yourself using available tools.

Instructions
Step 1
Find or build yourself a simple pattern of a soft angel toy, transfer it to tracing paper or print it on a printer. You will need a couple of torso parts - a simple frame with a rounded top (head), neck and a triangular bottom like a finger toy. You also need 2 solid parts of the wings (their middle will be sewn to the back), 4 parts of the lower and upper limbs.
Step 2
Cut out the pieces of the Christmas tree toy-angel from a dense, plain fabric of beige color, leaving small allowances for the seams (about 0.5 cm in height). Fold the parts of the torso with the wrong sides down and connect with a hand overlock so that the bottom and the holes for threading the limbs remain open. Turn the sewn part out through the free bottom.
Step 3
Stuff the angel's body tightly with cotton wool, cut padding polyester, foam rubber or special filler for soft toys. After that, fold the parts of one hand face down, sew along the edge (the bottom remains free) and turn the workpiece out with a pencil. Spread out the part and fill with soft filler. Sew the bottom with an overlock seam.
Step 4
Follow the finished sample for the second handle and legs, then sew and stuff the wings of the soft toy. Insert the upper limbs into the open parts of the body, attach the wings to the back of the angel. Sew on all details with blind stitches. When the legs are attached, connect all the unsewn edges of the body.
Step 5
Make the toy's hair out of long loops. Take yarn with sequins and follow the chain of air bows around the circumference of the angel's head. Tie 1 row of single crochets, make a lifting loop and attach a 1-1.5 cm thick bar to work. Wrap it with yarn, holding the tip with your finger, then grab the resulting long loop with a crochet and make a single crochet. He should grip the bar tightly. Tie a row of long loops, flip the resulting hair over, and make securing posts without a crochet.
Step 6
Sew long loops to the head of the soft figurine. Form a nimbus ring out of thin Christmas tree tinsel and attach an angel to the crown of the head. Decorate a soft Christmas tree toy to your taste: make a skirt, decorate the edges of clothes and wings with tinsel or lace braid. Sew on button eyes, embroider a smile with floss threads. You just need to attach a strong loop on the head of the angel, and the homemade Christmas tree toy is ready.
