A bonbonniere (translated from French bonbonnière - "candy bowl", from French bonbon - candy) is a small box, designed for about two or three candies. Bonbonnieres are used as a compliment, gift, token of attention at special events, as gratitude at wedding ceremonies and birthdays, for having attended a celebration.
It is necessary
- A4 paper or cardboard
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Hole punch, awl, knitting needle
- Ribbon, braid, lace
- The actual candy
Instructions
Step 1
All schemes are very simple and straightforward. Print on a printer or draw by hand (you can attach a sheet to the monitor screen and draw outlines). If you plan to make a series of identical bonbonnieres, then you can cut out a template from thick cardboard and work on it.
Step 2
After that, cut along the contour with scissors. In hard-to-reach places, I use nail scissors.
Step 3
Next, draw with a knitting needle or scissors (edge) along all the fold lines (highlighted with a dotted line).
Step 4
Make a small hole at the puncture site (marked with a cross). Of course, it is more convenient to do this with a hole punch, but you can completely do with an awl, knitting needle, any sharp object that is at hand.
Step 5
After that, assemble the box along the already marked fold lines. Put sweets inside. Usually they use sweets like "Rafaello", they have a paper base, like for cupcakes, they look more elegant and aesthetically pleasing. You can also use pasta cakes, then the color of the bonbonniere and the color of the cakes can be matched.
Step 6
Next, tie with a ribbon or braid. The bonbonniere is ready! If you wish, you can hang a tag on the ribbon with the name of the guest or a wish with congratulations or gratitude.
