On Victory Day, it is customary to congratulate those who saw the Great Patriotic War. On this day, you can also arrange an exhibition of children's works in a kindergarten, school or children's art house. There are a lot of options for crafts - postcards, military equipment in miniature, soldiers in the form of the Great Patriotic War, and much more.

It is necessary

  • - colored paper;
  • - colored cardboard;
  • - scissors;
  • - glue;
  • - several small boxes;
  • - shreds;
  • - gold braid;
  • - sheet synthetic winterizer;
  • - sewing accessories.

Instructions

Step 1

Universal craft for May 9 - postcard. It is suitable both for a gift and for an exhibition. It is best to make it volumetric, using the applique technique. Take a piece of thin A4 colored cardboard. Divide the long sides in half and connect the marks. From each mark, set aside 0.5 cm to both sides. Connect the points in pairs. Fold the cardboard along the lines so that you get something like a book binding.

Step 2

In the center of the front cover, draw a margin that will then be cut out. It can be round, oval, diamond or drop. Cut out this box. Sketch around it with a thin pencil. For example, there may be a five-pointed star at the bottom, and a St. George ribbon or oak branches around the neckline.

Step 3

Cut the applique elements out of colored paper. Glue them on the marked places. It is very convenient to use paper with a glue layer, especially if you are making a craft with a small child. If the reverse side of the cardboard is beautiful, the inside of the postcard may not be pasted over. Write the greeting so that it shows through the neckline.

Step 4

Various boxes can be used to make samples of military equipment - tanks, guns, airplanes, ships. For a tank, you will need 2 boxes - a low flat one (for example, from hunting matches) and a cubic one. You also need a sheet of thick green cardboard and green paper. Cover both boxes with paper. Cut out the caterpillars. Each has the form of a trapezoid, the larger base of which is slightly longer than the longest side of the flat box. Glue the tracks. Stick the cube box onto the flat one. Make a hole in the top of the tank. Make a cannon from the same cardboard by twisting it into a tube. If you have a dark green cocktail tube on hand, you can use it.

Step 5

For the exhibition, you can make a small panel of scraps. Cut out a square of 30-30 or 40x40 cm from a thick cotton fabric. Cut out the required number of squares with a side of 5 cm. For each cut there should be an allowance of 0.5 cm. Sew 2 squares together, iron the allowances. Then attach more squares to this pair to make a strip. Do the rest of the stripes in the same way. Sew them together.

Step 6

Select a drawing. A composition with a star and oak leaves, as well as a ship or an airplane, will do. Military equipment can be stylized. Cut out the elements of the design from the patches of the desired color. Lay them out on the front side of the canvas sewn from the squares and pin them with pins. Sew on the applique with a buttonhole, very tight and even stitches. Threads can be taken in tone or contrasting.

Step 7

Fold the finished panels with the wrong sides and sweep. You can put a piece of sheet synthetic winterizer or cardboard between the layers. Baste around the perimeter braid (preferably gold) and stitch. Make loops in the upper corners.
