You can use different decor to decorate the Christmas tree for the New Year, but if you want to decorate the tree in a special way, then decorate it with bows. It is not at all necessary to buy these jewelry, because they can be made with your own hands from ordinary ribbons.
It is necessary
- - tape 5-7 cm wide (color optional);
- - narrow tape (up to 1 cm) in the color of the main tape;
- - sequins, beads or beads;
- - threads in the color of the ribbons;
- - decorative thread for a pendant eyelet;
- - scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a ribbon about five centimeters wide and 0.5 meters long (both satin and nylon will do). Use sharp scissors to cut the edges of the tape to create sharp corners. Slices can be anything, it's a matter of taste.
Step 2
Place the tape in front of you with one end to your right and the other to your left. Divide the tape into three equal parts visually, then bend the tape in the places of the expected divisions, direct its ends to the middle of the workpiece, and lay them on top of each other in the shape of a cross.
Step 3
Sew the blank in the center with threads in the color of the bow. Three to five stitches are sufficient.
Step 4
Tie the central part of the bow with a narrow ribbon, make the knot itself on the seamy side of the craft. Make sure that the bow you create is not twisted. Spread it out if required.
Step 5
Decorate the bow with sequins, beads, beads or other decor. It is worth noting that it is better to skip this stage if the tape is non-uniform (has pictures).
Step 6
Take a decorative thread 15-20 cm long, fold it in half and tie the ends in a knot. The knot should be as close to the ends of the thread as possible.
Step 7
Glue or sew the thread to the wrong side of the bow. The decorative ribbon bow is ready. The size of the finished product does not exceed 15 cm.
