Blue sea, hot sun and white sand - this is what almost everyone dreams of. Everyone wants to run barefoot on the beach and dive into the warm sea water. But at the same time, you need to be very careful so that a dream come true does not turn into a punishment in the form of burns on the skin from the scorching sun.
Instructions
Step 1
For the first sunbathing, you will need no more than 20 minutes. If you have the first or second skin phototype and this year you have not sunbathed yet, then you should do 10 minutes under the sun.
Step 2
If you are taking medications, you should consult your doctor before relaxing on the sunny coast, as some medications can increase the body's sensitivity to ultraviolet light. You need to apply sunscreen 25-30 minutes before going outside, because the chemical filters that make up the creams do not take effect immediately.
Step 3
Do not forget that self-tanning does not protect against sunburn, as it does not cause the formation of melanin in skin cells. You should not save on sunscreen; it is better to apply it in sufficient quantity on the whole body (at least 20 ml for one tanning session).
Step 4
Remember an important fact: you cannot sunbathe from 11 to 16 hours, since the sun is most active at this time and you can get a burn literally in 5 minutes. You can get severely burned in the shade or on a cloudy day, and even more so in the water, even when the sky is overcast.
Step 5
Your back, face, shoulders and décolleté burn much faster, so wear sunscreen with a higher sunscreen content on these areas. Remember to wear a panama hat or hat over your head to further protect yourself from the direct sun. If there is no cream on hand, then you can use olive oil, as it also has a small sun protection factor.
