"It is not accepted to give such a thing" - how many times have you heard this phrase from other people? Indeed, there are well-established beliefs and omens according to which, after some gifts, luck turns away from people.
Choosing a gift is not easy. It is necessary not only to choose a thing that will really delight your loved one, friend or relative, but also to pay attention to how appropriate the gift will be. It is not accepted to give some things: ancient omens and traditions rooted in the people claim that some gifts bring misfortune.

If you are giving a person a wallet, be sure to put coins inside. It is not necessary to fill the wallet with money: the amount can be symbolic, however, according to the omen, this will increase the well-being of the owner of the wallet. An empty wallet presented as a gift, on the contrary, can lead to a lack of money.
When choosing a bouquet of flowers for a birthday person, you should not buy red carnations. These flowers are often associated with funerals, and signs say that a bouquet of red carnations always entails separation.
It is also not customary to give mirrors, as they store the energy of the passing time and old age. Some people believe that a donated wristwatch can also serve as a hint of the "passing years", so they prefer to avoid such gifts.
Whatever signs you are guided by, always remember that the best gift is the one that is made from the heart. There are exceptions even in traditional rules, if you know for sure that a person would like to receive such a surprise from you.
